Happiness, drawn so the structure shows.
A visual reading of the 2016 World Happiness Report — scatter, stacked histograms, regional small-multiples, and interactive Plotly views — labelled for a reader who is not a statistician.
Client: Happiness report study. Built by Dilshad Raza.
GDP, social support, health, and freedom sit behind the score. A default scatter hides the regional story. The work had to make those relationships visible — and labelled — without turning into a rainbow junk chart.
I built labelled scatter plots and stacked histograms in matplotlib, regional small-multiples in seaborn, and interactive views in Plotly Express so a reader could chase a country without losing the global frame.
